Thermal Electric Power Station in Bydgoszcz

High pressure regeneration preheaters PWU-300/250-1-270 (XW-31) and PWU-250/210-2-250 (XW-32).

This preheaters are high pressure, regeneration, surface, trizones, U-tubes heat exchangers vertical type. Heating medium it is steam from negative sourse of turbine. Every preheater consists from property preheater, steam cooler and condensate cooler.

Modernization of preheaters was connected with exchange of sieve bottom, U-tubes and membrane gasket on main connections and steam inlets, modernization of condensate cooler and modernization of self-cleaning water chamber.

Preheater XW-31

Basic parameters :

- total surface of heat exchange 300 m²

- quantity of heat changing 8,75 MW

- calculation overpressure:

- water space 22,6 MPa

- steam space 1,57 MPa

- calculation temperature

- water space 225 ^oC

- steam space 250^oC

Preheater XW-32

- total surface of heat exchange 250 m²

- quantity of heat changing 9,19 MW
